1tbspmalted milk powder or regular powdered milk(optional)
1pinthigh-quality strawberry ice cream(no fake flavors or dye)
Instructions
Instructions
Start by preparing and freezing the strawberries. Hull 8 ounces of strawberries and slice them thinly. In a medium bowl, mix them with 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Toss the mixture together and then freeze for about 1 hour.
While the strawberries are freezing, chill your glasses. Put 2 pint glasses or 4 smaller glasses in the freezer.
Next, blend the strawberries and milk. In a blender, combine the frozen strawberries and all the syrupy juice from the bowl. Pour in 3/4 cup of whole milk and blend until the strawberries are smooth, without any large chunks.
If you want to enhance the flavor, add the malted milk powder. Stir in 1 tablespoon of malted milk powder or powdered milk, if desired, and blend again. Keep in mind, this is optional but adds creaminess and richness.
Now, add the ice cream. Remove the blender jar from its base and add 1 pint of strawberry ice cream. Gently mix it into the milk and strawberries by hand before blending everything thoroughly. If the mixture becomes too thick, you can add up to 1/4 cup more milk to help it blend smoothly.
Finally, pour the milkshake into the chilled glasses and garnish with extra strawberries. Enjoy your delicious shake immediately!

Prep time is 10 minutes. This recipe makes about 32 ounces of milkshake.
